Job Summary:

Delivers clean linen to designated stocking areas. Collects and launders soiled linen. Stocks linen throughout the facility and on linen carts. May track linen usage in daily log.

Job Description:

Principle Responsibilities

• Delivers clean linen to stock areas.
  • Ensures proper levels of linen are maintained in the stock areas.
• Collects soiled linen.
  • Launders soiled linen using washer and dryer.
• Ensures carts are prepared and ready for delivery and reuse.
  • Remaining linen is stored in linen room.
  • Empties bins to accommodate soiled linen.
• May track linen usage in daily log.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description, and High school diploma or GED preferred or 6 months similar work experience
• 0 to 2 years of health care linen experience or high school diploma/GED required
