About The Role - You Will
Our Shakopee campus is located 25 minutes southwest of Minneapolis in a setting with a rural vibe – it overlooks a horse racing track and stables, yet it has great entertainment venues close by as well. With wide-open spaces, the campus has plenty of space for running, biking, shooting some hoops or playing volleyball over lunch. If working out is your thing, the on-site fully equipped fitness center hosts wellness programs, tournaments, and group workouts. Hungry? Seagate offers an on-site café with freshly sourced foods and specialty coffees, or if you prefer, drive to one of many restaurants just minutes away. #internship

About The Role - You Will
- Facilitate board management controller functions, operations, and development
- Understand RUST programing language
- Work closely with Engineering staff to accomplish key project goals
- Complete project delivery:
- Develop POCs of FW/Software ported to Rust for comparison against the existing C versions
- Strong statistical and analytic skills
- Actively pursuing Bachelors in a related Engineering or Computer Science
- Understanding of RUST framework and its operations
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to adapt to a changing environment and learn new technology
- Excellent team player
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of C/C++, Python; RUST Experience is a Plus
- Pursuit of a bachelor’s in computer science or related field; must be enrolled in Fall 2025 classes.
- Candidate is ideally in their final year of study
