About Our Group

This position is located in the Seagate Microprocessor Development Group. The team creates microprocessor solutions that power Seagate’s custom ASIC solutions.

About The Role - You Will

  • Design RTL components for RISC-V-based processor designs and subsystems
  • Develop UVM-based verification IP for RISC-V-based processor designs and subsystems
  • Prototype designs on FPGA platforms
  • Collect and analyzing coverage information to evaluate the efficacy of the verification IP
  • Assist in simulation regression maintenance and triage

About You

  • Ability to work well within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills.

Your Experience Includes

  • Coursework covering data structures and algorithms and computer systems
  • Experience with object-oriented programming concepts and languages
  • Experience in HDL languages such as Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog
  • Experience with microprocessor design
  • Experience with ASIC verification
  • Experience with UVM methodology
  • Experience with FPGA tools
  • BS in EE, ECE, CE, or CS
  • MS in EE, ECE, CE, or CS

Our Shakopee campus is located 25 minutes southwest of Minneapolis in a setting with a rural vibe – it overlooks a horse racing track and stables, yet it has great entertainment venues close by as well.
