KEB has an exciting opportunity to learn and grow in our Engineering Department. As a Test Engineer, you will use your knowledge and development skills while working on projects with the Software, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering Team. This position will contribute to testing embedded firmware systems, electrical systems, and mechanical systems used in high power electrical applications that are safety critical.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Setup, execute, and teardown tests in the R&D Lab
- Documentation and reporting of test data
- Creating and modifying existing testing software and hardware
- Ability to follow test code execution and identify the resulting functionality of tests
Education/Experience
- 4 year Professional degree in the field of Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field with a GPA >= 3.0
- 0 to 5 years related experience
- Experience with programming software and debugging
- Hardware experiences using circuit boards, wiring, and soldering
- Python programming experience
- Experience with Git, TDD, Agile, CI/CD, DevOps
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Specific Technical Skills (May be learned on the job)
- Familiarization with industrial programming language IEC 61131-3
- Programming Languages: C, C#, Python, and scripting
- Gitlab
- Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps
- Familiarization with UML
- Understanding of variable speed drives and control systems

Salary Description
$65,000-$90,000 depending on qualifications/exp.
