The Entrust Vendor Management Team is a new centralized team responsible for the management and oversight of key Entrust vendor relationships. The Vendor Management Analyst has a critical role in both the implementation and management of the oversight of these vendor relationships. The Vendor Management Analyst will partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective management of the vendor’s performance, risk, and financials. This role will also play a key role in setting the strategy for the effective management of Entrust’s vendor relationships both now and in the future. This role will be based out of our Global Headquarters in Shakopee, MN.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides day-to-day support and direction for internal departments and external vendors through both a formal cadence of touchpoints and the informal handling of escalations.
  • Partners with Business Owners in the measurement and management of vendor performance through contractual SLA’s and KPI’s.
  • Handles the administrative management of vendor relationships through the administration of internal processes and procedures.
  • Supports best practices in the creation, expansion, and ongoing management of global vendor relationships, which includes tracking vendor contracts, spend, headcount, and performance.
  • Partners with key internal stakeholders and external stakeholders in the negotiation of contracts and change requests to document key changes to the vendor relationships.
  • Supports the organization’s vendor risk program by coordinating risk-based vendor assessments and collaborating with internal teams and vendors.
  • Acts as a resource for managing ongoing vendor risk activities, including contributing to the upkeep of compliance documentation and supporting process enhancements.
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with vendors and provides excellent service to internal and external partners.
  • Executes vendor management activities, including process oversight, adherence to standards, metrics tracking, and coordination of the end-to-end sourcing process.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for system and process improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5-7 years of vendor management experience in lieu of degree acceptable.
  • Demonstrated successful experience with vendor management and / or strategic sourcing.
  • Experience with the management of BPO vendor relationships and partnering with offshore vendor relationships.
  • Familiarity with procurement, contract management, risk management, and service delivery.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to understand contracts.
  • Proficient in the usage of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of compliance, risk management, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Demonstrated time management skills; ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and adapt to changing priorities
  • Extremely well organized with established systems and processes for managing tasks and work products.
  • Detail driven and able to easily identify trends and improvement activity through problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytics skills and financial acumen.
  • Ability to travel internationally.

Compensation Range:


The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $74,583-$109,388 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
