Job Title: Supervisor, Production - 1st Shift REQ#Position Overview:
Entrust is currently seeking a Supervisor of Production to join our dynamic, growing Manufacturing team. As a Supervisor of Production you will have the opportunity to execute manufacturing operations on the production floor in accordance with the department manager. This position will lead, train, and direct colleagues, and build and support Entrust products. The position will also participate in projects and related tasks to improve and increase efficiency in the Operations area.
This position will support the Desktop Assembly area and complete the outlined duties and others as assigned. This position works Monday through Thursday on second shift with the core hours being 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

Responsibilities:
Production
Assign and reassign tasks to accomplish prescribed work efficiently.
Set priorities for the team and allocate work to meet the priorities.
Possesses deep technical product and process knowledge, making this person the go to expert and trainer in one or more manufacturing areas.
Understand and perform processes for manufacturing of product within work areas to achieve the required quality level.
Assembles with high quality and productivity on product lines.
Acts as the first point of contact to troubleshoot or escalate daily job issues.
Displays advanced assembly troubleshooting skills on multiple product lines.
Identify and implement continuous improvement project(s) that save the company time, money, or create competitive advantage.
Demonstrates strong organization skills with abilities to prioritize manufacturing work in order to achieve the shortest lead time possible for customer orders.
Proven they can be counted on to attempt any task (build and pack) on any line.
May be called upon to setup production areas, complete nonstandard projects, work on the line or perform assembly tasks as needed.
Work with other departments to customize standard products to meet specific customer requirements as required.
May develop, update, and validate documentation on the various technical processes performed.
May interface with customers as required during factory acceptance testing.
May perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration of product and equipment.
May test products.
Leadership & People Management
Drive safe work practices and is a positive influence on employee adherence to safety policies.
Demonstrates cross functional leadership skills on a consistent basis; bridging gaps between supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing workflows.
Provide technical advice and leadership to other employees in the department.
Help to manage day-to-day decisions in the manufacturing area regarding accomplishments of tasks, prioritization, problem resolutions and quality issues.
Perform general management responsibilities such as hiring, performance management, performance reviews, individual development activities, conflict resolution etc.
Monitor team performance against department standards, and ensure that these standards are consistently met or exceeded.
Orients new employees and train new hires on policies and procedures.
Able and willing to hold all department colleagues accountable for all company policies and procedures.
Provide feedback to colleagues
Lead and/or assist in disciplinary decisions and action
Act as escalation point for issues and provide leadership and guidance to team
Provide necessary work direction and manage projects effectively through planning, organization and project management.
Ensure quality requirements are all met and ISO 9001 standards are followed.
Maintain cleanliness of the workplace and compliance towards ISO 14001 standards.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, and 3+ years of electro mechanical experience, 1 year of leadership experience.
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of specific work area on the production floor.
Learns, understands, and is able to implement and adhere to all policies, practices and procedures.
Basic computer skills
Able to learn new things quickly, work as part of a team and has a high level of initiative to accomplish necessary tasks.
Able to work in a standing position for extended time periods and able to lift and install mechanical assemblies that may weigh up to 50 pounds
Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
Preferred Qualifications
Associates degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, automated systems/robotics or related field or equivalent verifiable training (e.g., military training in relevant field).
8+ years of electro mechanical technician and troubleshooting experience, 2+ years of leadership experience.
Strong computer skills
Previous experience with industrial automation equipment or specialized machines
