Position Overview:

Entrust is seeking an Automation Systems Analyst to join our growing and innovative Automation Engineering team. The Automation Systems Analyst will lead multiple systems projects to support our enterprise automation expansion. The ultimate contribution at this role is to drive operation excellence through costs savings and quality. The analyst will run digital projects, manage automation opportunities and support solutions implementations. The analyst will serve as an advocate for automation, promote the use of automation when appropriate and will partner with cross-functions to offer automation solutions that will improve product, procedures and services. The Automation Systems Analyst will perform the responsibilities detailed below and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Provide the necessary expertise needed across project discovery, planning, execution and closing
  • Provide transparency and communication on project status and risks to cross functional team members, business and executive leaders
  • Proactively engages with business stakeholders to understand project priorities and ensure that gaps are identified and addressed
  • Ability to manage and escalate issues when appropriate to keep projects on track
  • Be able to play the roles of Scrum Master and Product Owner as needed
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to the business executives and leadership team

Business Process Automation

  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities by analyzing processes and assessing feasibility for automation
  • Drive internal and external process improvements, consulting with cross-functional teams to understand needs and pain points related to tools support, solve workflow problems, and ensure internal tools and automation systems are fully leveraged
  • Build and maintain workflows to easily document and explain processes
  • Problem-solve issues that arise in day-to-day running of automation processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required
  • Evaluate how processes/systems changes will impact customers, end users, and the overall business
  • Digitize processes using digital forms, workflows and others similar tools
  • Model and transform critical manual business processes into automated processes to ensure consistency and high availability of the correct procedure
  • Design data plan for enabling measurements and process metrics to drive continuous improvements projects

Quality Assurance

  • Manage software issues and effectively track testing status
  • Coordinate testing with other team members, subject matter experts, and end users
  • Design and manage regression tests suites to drive high quality of software delivery
  • Develop, modify, and execute software test plans
  • Design, document, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Lead release plan and execution
  • Regularly perform processes and systems audits

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, Business, or related degree
  • Demonstrated previous experience with process improvement and project management methodologies
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst or Process Analyst
  • Previous experience with Business Process Management (BPM)
  • Agile certifications (Scrum Master, …)
  • Certified Project Manager Professional (PMP)
