We’re looking for an Associate Logistics Specialist!
The Associate Logistics Specialist leads the coordination, and execution of the inbound and outbound movement of goods and products. This position will work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Shipping, and Export Logistics to execute the movement of shipments from Entrust locations direct to our customers. This position requires extensive contact with vendors, carriers, shipping, and customer service to provide logistics solutions via the most cost effective modes given the service requirements. How you will make an impact:
Complete freight quotations daily for customer service and sales rate requests
Daily revenue recognition to rate and recognize shipment departure and close files in Oracle to recognize revenue
Manage shipment documents correctly based on company SLA standards
Manage tracking inquiries
Tracking, following up, and processing bills of lading from Freight Forwarders and other service provider. Ensure proper storage and destruction guidelines are met
Basic Qualifications:
Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
1 year of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain
General computer skills – proficiency with Microsoft 365, specifically Excel a must
Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle or another ERP system
Experience working with international small package, air and ocean as well as domestic truck
Proven ability to interpret carrier rates, contracts and tariffs
Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player who excels in a fast-paced environment
Excellent and effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic
Ability to quickly process information and make decisions
Analytical and creative problem resolution abilities
