Based in our Shakopee, MN location, you will work as a Global Product Management Engineer with portfolio responsibilities for the market-leading portfolio of Rosemount Temperature Transmitters.
As a Product Management Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle for Rosemount Temperature Transmitters to ensure revenue, profitability, quality, and customer loyalty goals are met.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Act as product management lead in requirement definition and launch planning/execution of new to market and emerging Ethernet technology product.
- Drive business growth and serve as a subject matter expert for assigned products & product lines.
- Develop knowledge and expertise with the world area sales channel, customer care, and operations for assigned products and technology.
- Create digital tools, training, and collateral to help train new field sales & inside sales on local product and feature strategies, portfolio tiers, pricing, and local competition.
- Capture market intelligence on industry trends and competition.
- Participate in pricing and discount structure strategy & execution.
You research new initiatives and try new approaches. You keep up with current and possible future policies, practices, and trends in the organization, with the competition, and in the marketplace. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You know your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and limits. You recognize the value of strategy as emergent and ever-changing.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technical discipline.
- Two (2) or more years of related experience.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% (domestic or international).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
