OVERVIEW
We are seeking a strategic and operationally strong Vice President of Finance to lead our finance and accounting organization through a period of growth and transformation. This role is designed for a leader who can elevate the finance function from traditional reporting and control into a strategic business partner to the President and executive team, guiding the company as it targets $500M in revenue by 2028. The VP of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and compliance activities, while also driving deeper integration of our newly implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O system. This leader will play a critical role in financial planning, expense management, margin improvement, automation, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business. Reporting directly to the President and likely serving as a company officer, the VP will manage and develop a growing team currently consisting of 7+ professionals across accounting, financial analysis, credit & collections, and AR/AP. The role will require strong leadership, team-building, and change-management skills to strengthen internal controls, improve execution, and support a high-performance finance culture. This position will serve as a key interface with our publicly traded parent company in Taiwan, requiring steady, clear, and culturally attuned communication. While fluency in Chinese is not required, the ability to manage international communication and align with our global standards is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the top finance leader and strategic advisor to the President, supporting long-term financial planning and operating income growth.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes with accuracy, discipline, and timeliness.
- Drive deeper utilization of D365 F&O and lead initiatives to automate financial operations, reporting, and analytics.
- Support the evaluation of M&A opportunities, including financial due diligence and integration planning (as needed).
- Oversee all accounting, audit, tax, and compliance functions, ensuring alignment with applicable accounting standards including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). A CPA is preferred.
- Strengthen the finance team’s capabilities through mentorship, structure, and performance management.
- Partner with sales and operations leadership to support margin management, pricing strategy, and cost control.
- Act as the financial liaison to our Taiwan-based parent company and auditors, providing calm, clear, and consistent communication.
- Champion a culture of accountability, initiative, and collaboration within the finance organization and across departments.
- Attendance is an essential function of this position.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- 15+ years of financial leadership experience, ideally in manufacturing, tech hardware, or energy sectors.
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Track record of developing and executing strategic financial plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft D365 F&O or equivalent ERP systems, with advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational abilities; able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and urgency.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High integrity and commitment to confidentiality, professional ethics, and continuous learning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
- Flexible, professional demeanor with strong customer service orientation and polished presentation skills.

- While performing these duties the person is regularly required to walk, stand, bend, climb stairs, kneel, or crouch and successfully demonstrate the ability to write or use a computer or other electronic devices and operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Employees in this position may need to regularly lift at least 5 lbs. and up to 20 pounds occasionally and may need to exert themselves while performing the above-mentioned duties.
- Perform a variety of physical labor including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time. Also includes being able to lift boxes, tools, equipment and materials.
- Ability to drive a car and travel to worksites. Employee will be reimbursed mileage according to corporate reimbursement schedule if using a personal vehicle.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range of the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay: $170,000.00+.
