Internship Programs at CommScope

How You’ll Help Us Connect the World

As a Project Manager Intern, you will be responsible for support, organization and leadership reviewing and deploying changes to the Enterprise PDP (Product Development Process) documents. You will work closely with the PMO (Project Management Office) to deploy changes and assist with implementing standard processes for all functions of our business. You will also shadow and assist project managers with active, cross functional global projects. This position will be in Shakopee, MN.

You Will Make an Impact By

• Reviewing current procedures and shadowing Project Managers to observe the PDP process
• Working with a small group of members from the PMO to incorporate document changes
• Creating training material on new and/or revised procedures
• Assisting in creating and performing critical metric reports using Power BI
• Shadowing and/or assist in the management of a PDP project

Required Qualifications for Consideration

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master’s degree in engineering or business from an accredited university
• Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Possess a high-energy level, strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Are curious about how new product is developed, built and launched into the market.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and maintains the ability to complete tasks on time and perform well under time constraints.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word.
• Have a general understanding, aptitude, and curiosity about how things are made and how can they be made better.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
